Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi held a meeting with some state officials, on Tuesday, to follow up on the progress of the national project to establish and develop milk collection centres, in addition to other agricultural projects.
The President directed for providing EGP 50,000 to each milk collection centre to get accredited with ISO certification of standard specifications for production quality.
Al-Sisi said that the plan aims to support farmers, as well as enhance the quality of dairy production in Egypt. This will preserve the health and safety of the country’s citizens, whilst also opening new prospects for exporting, and doubling the financial return for workers in this sector.
